The SEAside sculptural furniture is made mostly of recycled materials. The decorative sides is of detailed weaving using reclaimed fish netting that relating to the artwork story of the painted top. The table tops have been hand painted with Porters Australian hand made paints and sealed with clear acrylic. Finally a 6mm polished edge clear acrylic perspex protects the top. The integrated artworks are inspired by coral, angle fish, the clown trigger fish and moths from the country I call home. The idea began as a sketch integrating a quad bike tyre as the base, then I thought of what other recycled materials I could gather to make this piece from the selvaged items in my shed.

 

 The SEAside ottoman has my Coral Fingers textile upholstered to the seat.

 

They are practical and beautiful pieces of usable art and robust for family living.

Besides the 4 o'clock moth and Fingers Coral, all other pictured SEAside Tables and Ottoman are sold. Every sculptural furniture is unique and no copies are made of the same piece.
